I was driving home from work along SR 177 which is a fairly dark area, not a ton of city lights and no highway lights. Saw it nearly straight in front of me all of a sudden. It came from upper right towards lower left of sky. It seemed to me to disappear before hitting horizon. It was quick- blink and you would have missed it.
