Remarks Location may not be highly accurate, was driving down the turnpike (East) when I saw it appear from my right. Only lasted less than 2 seconds and saw no similar bodies in the sky. Time is correct withing 10 or so mins, moon had just crested the mountains and was still a bright peach color.

Remarks Gold tail began at the head of the fireball and tapered back about x6 times the length of the body. Tail wasn't a smooth streak, looked like gold flakes breaking apart, leaving smaller gold trails, ricocheting off of each other so that the trails left "crackling" pattern. Looked more like 'electricity' than fire.
