Reports Report 6773i (Event 6773-2025)

Name Iz Avery P
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was walking my dog when I observed the brolide and I think I covered somewhere between 5-10 feet maintaining a steady pace the entire time I observed the fireball. I can't be more precise than a rough guess as I wasn't paying attention to anything but the strange bright object streaking across the sky. To help in triangulating the path, here's more details. Ufortunately It was difficult for me to fully see the entire path as while it started up high above the trees the path then passed behind the trees. However, I was able to see the light of it through the branches to roughly track it and I had an unobstructed view of it as from where it cleared the tall eucalyptus trees near 19 Comstock Circle (the 2nd and 3rd closest to the street respectively) before it disappeared behind the trees behind 19 Comstock (from my perspective) and the building itself. When it cleared the eucalyptus trees it was just below the moon. I'm not great with time estimation so while I think the entire duration was between 1 and 2 seconds, it may have been longer. However, the entire path I observed definitely lasted no longer than 5 seconds.
