| Remarks | Clear night, have seen fireballs several times day and night but never one at this angle. Was very bright yellow with long trail seeming almost vertical in path. Not large by any means. Maybe if holding a pencil in front of me at arms length would be the tail momentarily visible led with a ball slightly wider. I was in a vehicle with stereo on, so cannot speak to sound. First thought from an untrained view it could have impacted eastern US. If it didn't impact at all it seemed very close. |
