Reports Report 6997bj (Event 6997-2025)

Observer
Name Betzi S
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was inside my house in my bedroom, I looked out the window and saw it. The lights were out in the bedroom, but there were lights in the hallway and in the bathroom with the door open, causing dim light plus reflection of items in the room on the window. This means several things to me: It was bright enough to be visible despite all that, but also made me a little unsure of the brightness of the event I saw given my perception was relative to the other indoor light I was seeing. I do feel fairly confident it was a fireball, due to its speed, size, color, intensity, trajectory, and how quickly it was over. I have a little experience in that I saw one once before in late June of 2023 in Richford, VT (and did report it on this site), and I stargaze most nights of the week.
