| Remarks | The fireball landed feet from our boat in the middle of Rangeley Lake in Maine. It was a surreal experience. Startling huge ball of light with a long trail coming down, I screamed to my husband, he turned around and saw it also come down, the fireball broke apart into pieces 10 feet or so above water and the trail faded quickly. All happened within 5 seconds or so. So thankful to have another witness! One of the wildest things I’ve seen in my life. |

| Remarks | We were so close to it, it landed in the water next to our boat. The trail was could be seen as the fireball came down and broke up. Likely for 20-40 feet in the air. It was very bright and then it faded in a matter of seconds. Absolutely wild. |
