Reports Report 8290o (Event 8290-2025)

Observer
Name Louis C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was driving south on when this very bright meteor entered my vision from the top, left of my windshield and and disappeared behind the hills. It was so bright that I was expecting an explosion after it disappeared. It wasn’t nearly as bright as the Chelyabinsk event in 2013, but it definitely reminded me of that considering that it was dark when I saw it and it was daylight during the Chelyabinsk event. I asked if anyone else locally had seen it on Facebook, but nobody else has reported seeing it so far.
