Remarks I was in my upstairs bedroom lights out windows ajar trying to identify a bird call and the view I had was from the smaller top window of standard pvc windows so I did not see the full sky but I believe in those few seconds I witnessed the full meteor with trailing bright tail. It’s very difficult to measure the brightness in those few seconds but it was far brighter than any firework brightness that’s been the bane of the past weeks. I searched around the trees the next day thinking it was just so close I would find something but there’s too many fall leaves covering the ground and yesterday the council arrived in the area to do a full cut back of shrubs and raking/blowing leaves to be removed. I’ve not been able to continue a search for anything that may have landed on the ground.
