Remarks Sky was mostly clear with northern lights at the time. Looking almost Southly a low band of distant layered clouds was hanging on the far horizon.when the meteor exploded the flash was bright enough to see through the distant cloud layer

Remarks As the meteor exploded I could see multiple smoke trails as the flash lit up the area around explosion for a second or two

Remarks Saw fast bright meteor and after about 10 degrees of flight it exploded and flashed brightly and separated into a tight clump of bright fragments continuing about the same direction but in a narrow cone shape fo about 10 -15 degrees of flight almost straight down
