AMS Fireball Report Draft
Date & Time (local):
November 14, 2025 at approximately 9:57 PM MST
Location:
Glendale, Arizona 85310, USA
Observer Position & Direction:
I was outdoors facing north. The object appeared in the western sky relative to my position.
Starting Point:
In my field of view it appeared high in the western sky, angled slightly downward toward the horizon.
Ending Point:
It traveled downward until it disappeared near the western horizon.
Appearance:
The object was extremely bright and noticeably colorful — almost rainbow-like. It had a distinct glowing trail that persisted for about 3 seconds before fading. It moved very fast, much faster than any aircraft or satellite.
Color(s):
Multiple colors visible — including bright greens, blues, yellows, and possibly some red/orange tones.
Brightness (comparison):
Much brighter than Venus, similar to a bright firework or a camera flash at a distance.
Fragmentation:
I did not notice any pieces breaking off — it looked like one continuous object.
Sound:
No sound heard.
Duration:
Approximately 2–3 seconds of visible travel, with the glowing trail lasting about 3 seconds total.
Other Notes:
The downward appearance was very steep — almost vertical — but the object was far to my west. No blinking lights or aircraft characteristics. The colors and brightness were very striking |
