Direction of the fireball:
The fireball was seen moving toward the desert area south of Ibri.
Appearance:
The fireball was bright white with a strong blue tint.
It was extremely luminous and visible clearly in the night sky.
Behavior:
• It appeared suddenly as a bright flash.
• It travelled downward at a steep angle toward the desert.
• The color was white/blue, indicating a very hot and fast-moving object.
Sound:
A loud explosive sound (sonic boom) was heard shortly after the flash.
The sound was strong enough to be clearly noticeable.
Duration:
The visible flash lasted less than 2 seconds.
Sky conditions:
Clear sky – visibility was good.
Additional Notes:
People in other regions of Oman, including Adam, also reported seeing the same flash.
The sound suggests the object may have fragmented or exploded at low altitude. |
