Reports Report 8989k (Event 8989-2025)

Observer
Name Magni T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I am somewhat unsure of how long the event lasted and unsure if I missed some fragmentation and other details. This is all due to the fact that when the event began I was facing the wrong way till I saw bright flashes come from behind.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks I saw one or two extremely bright flashes from behind while I was facing east and turned around to the west and saw a bright red object fragment
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks After I turned around I saw the singular object on a downward angled path where it then fragmented into 5-6 smaller pieces that had a much steeper curving path towards almost straight down. They were almost heading straight down. They disappeared. Due to the bright flashes I suspect it fragmented once or twice before I turned.
