I’m not sure this was a meteor, but I don’t know enough to rule it out. It might have been some sort of rocket or satellite equipment. I really don’t know. Sorry if this is a false report.

It jutted a long way then dimmed considerably and a few pieces may have divided away from the main body then it got bright again as it jutted out a short distance and disappeared. I don’t know much about this stuff but I imagine I saw it skip on a layer of the atmosphere.
