| Remarks | Walking dog with wife, night sky. Looked to the South and observed bright object with tail. It was persistent until I lost visual after it went behind taller trees. Wife saw light thru the trees when I exclaimed I saw a meteor. It was different than the meteors I’ve seen like the perseids. I heard a jet overhead and thought it was related. I later found the aircraft was from Canada, on way to OGG in Hawaii. I heard no unusual sounds and the jet sound followed the aircraft normally. Tail was long10+ degrees. Path was approximately East to SW. color seemed white along with tail. |
