Reports Report 9854d (Event 9854-2025)

Observer
Name Dan B
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks This is the brightest Geminid Meteor I've ever seen. This year's shower ranks as the best I've ever seen. By a stroke of luck, it also appeared on the Missouri Skies Live Stream, which is still up and running. The rising Moon is over there on the right just clearing the trees. There were hundreds of Geminids overnight but this one was tops. I wouldn't have beieved it was a Gem were it not for the others nearby with which to compare the trajectory.
