I’ve seen “shooting stars” before, but nothing as big or bright as this. I wasn’t expecting it either - I was just looking at constellations.

A glowing train that faded at the tail. Was like a bright white/yellow slash in the sky with hues of blue and purple. It gradually faded away after a couple of seconds after the fireball disappeared. Was incredibly bright - we both shielded our eyes
