Remarks I initially thought it was a firework, but the object was clearly higher and of a different nature as it “fragmented” and continued across the sky, as opposed to upwards like a firework would. Also got a sense that this was similar to fireball videos you sometimes see on the news etc. Amazing to see one in person.

Remarks The trailing line appeared to break into maybe 2, 3 or more shorter lines as the object moved across in an apparent south / southwesterly direction from my perspective
