Reports Report 170c (Event 170-2026)

Observer
Name Jurgen D
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks Quite horizontal pattern, right as I noticed it while Driving the car. I checked my location on the highway and also the visibility of stars, the bright ones are visible. Observation through the windscreen, next to the mirror of the car on the passenger side. So low above horizon. Clear enough to notice it immediately from a driving car in a dark part of the sky despite the highway led illumination. As mentioned: my guess: space debris re-entering hearth atmosphere, heating up and burning out, leaving a slight angled almost horizontal line in the sky, that became visible, more intense and disappears. Total about two seconds max I would guess.
