Reports Report 225cn (Event 225-2026)

Observer
Name Krisann L
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I observed this from my car driving east to west on State Route 14 in Columbiana, Ohio, just west of the State Route 14/Rt. 46 intersection. Because I was driving, it is difficult for me to pinpoint an exact address this occurred. I saw a bright reddish-orange light in the sky to my north, rather low, which at first was partially covered by treetops. It was moving north to south at a downward trajectory. It crossed over the road, then I observed a flash as it broke into small fragments and dissipated completely. It was fairly low when I saw it dissipate. The light/object was not particularly large, but large enough to clearly see it. I wish I would have been able to capture a video.
