Remarks The entire East wall of my living room is a window 20+ ft Waite and 15 ft high u to top of cathedral ceiling. I was talking to my wife while facing the window when it came into view. I estimate it lasted 4-5 seconds because I tried to get my wife to turn around (laying on couch) but it sorta flashed once or twice before disappearing. I’m certain the light extinguished just before it reached 80ft treetops that are ~100ft from that window. If not for mostly snow covered ground, it appeared to have likely landed in an open field 3/4 mile away. Very neat to see that close but no sounds and no reports from anyone online that I could find.

Remarks It appeared very close and and was similar to a streaking firework with a large trail of noticeable sparks following behind- only coming across sky downward rather than up (like a firework). Having never seen one up close, I’d swear it landed a quarter mile or less away. I almost took out my Thermal drone until I found that meteorites are not hot upon impact. It was a very clear night but sub freezing temps in rural Greenfield IN. I’d hoped others saw it but very unlikely due to temps and late hour.
