It looked like the white flash of a fire ball in videos from January 26 of this year. It was too dark for me to see any fragments, but it was so low it looked like it was falling into the neighborhood. The white ball was huge--I've seen many meteor showers and this was much larger. It lasted for about 3 seconds

It flashed out just as it hit the low horizon. My visibility was limited due to the buildings. I was looking towards Centinela Blvd and it looked like it was landing in Del Rey
