| Remarks | Started like a normal small bright white flash to the North East. What was notable is that it was dusk - not yet fully dark. I was staring near straight up floating in the hot tub at the time. As the meteor when from East to West, it grew brighter and then turned greenish and then got to nearly 1/3 a moon diameter for a brief second as it looked like was going to hit the ground. That would have been in Orange County or LA, it the distance could be guessed. Biggest I have ever seen from this location. |
