Reports Report 1411h (Event 1411-2026)

Observer
Name Lee-Ann W
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was the coolest thing Ive ever seen, in the night sky. I feel so lucky to have witnessed, what I truly believe, was a big, bright, red fireball. I thought maybe it was a flare at first, but it was so lg & bright that didn't make sense. I then thought, it was a plane in trouble, on fire & it was about to crash, as it came over the mtn & traveling downwards, but there was no sound, no flashing lights, just silence.. I was in complete awe.. It was breathtaking. Your mind plays tricks on ya, when you see something unusual, unidentified in the sky.. I was just in awe & felt I'm witnessing something special.. A once in a lifetime moment. Right time.. Right place!! I'm a longtime star gazer & meteor shower watcher & this was something Ive never witnessed & probably never will again. *Just to note also: Clear skies, just the odd cloud
