Remarks | My 14 year old son was with me in the car and we both witnessed the phenomena. The complex we were pulling out of is on a hill so we had an unobstructed view of the southern horizon. it came straight down from our vantage and disappeared behind the mountains. It looked to me as it if was way down over New Mexico or Arizona, especially since I could not hear any noise from it. |

Remarks | The light fell straight down in the far horizon in a bright white streak. Then it burst into orange flames and continued falling until it fell out of our field of vision, the other side of the far mountains. The train glowed very briefly, if at all. My son and I were both shocked that it burst into flames. |
