| Remarks | To be honest, I am not sure if it was indeed a fireball or rather something like a burning drone that crashed (that was the first thought in my head) but I wanted to report it anyway. When I saw the ball, my mind immediately jumped to something more practical like a drone crashing because I'd never thought about meteors before and had always assumed they were incredibly rare. I noted it down in my notes app on my phone with the time and the location so I could check the news later about a drone accident or something. Only half an hour later did I think it might be more like a meteor (or whatever the term is). Note at the end: while finishing up I googled some more, and just now, 19.59 local time, I ound that people had been talking about this on Reddit on the page r/Netherlands, the time checks out (they said 18.53, I think it was either that or 18.54 because I biked for one more minute and then took out my phone to start writing the note to myself. |

| Remarks | It looked like something was burning and falling from the sky, but it wasn't dropping at an angle at which I think an object would drop normally. It looked orangey-yellow, like something burning, from right to left, and it had a tail/trail but the tail was only visible very briefly. The tail was more whitish, not coloured. It just looked like a burning object was falling, it didn't even look that far away. |
