Reports Report 1467bnj (Event 1467-2026)

Observer
Name L. S
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was standing on the former sports field in Herdringen (Zum Krähenbrink) with the Mariengrotte (the small grotto/shrine at the edge of the woods) at my back. I was looking west, towards the Schützenhalle. I observed a bright object moving from right to left, falling down. It looked like a fireball. After the explosion (and its brightest form) a small, visible part broke off from the main body that ’vanished‘. This fragment looked like a flickering, star-like piece that fell downwards. A visible smoke trail (persistent train) remained in the sky for a short time. Maybe a few minutes.
