Remarks Observation report – Fireball Date: 8 March 2026 Time: approximately 18:55 CET Location: Vianden, Luxembourg I observed a very bright fireball in the sky. I first noticed an intense flash of light, which made me look up. I then saw a long bright white streak with a bright spherical head at the front. The object was moving roughly from the south-east toward the east. The visible flight lasted approximately 5–10 seconds. The color appeared mostly white and very bright. The object left a long luminous trail behind it and then suddenly disappeared. About 2–3 minutes after the light disappeared, I heard a loud cracking or booming sound, similar to something breaking or exploding in the distance.
