Remarks It was cloudy but the booms were loud and distant to the west. Later the news reported meteor sightings that night to the SW by Brainerd 100 miles away- This made me think that that would explain the unusual booms

Color i only heard 3 loud booms it was cloudy

Remarks I didn't see a fireball but heard 3 deep distant booms about 2-3 seconds apart. I thought the Boswell power plant in Cohasset Mn had exploded but the sound was south of it-slightly south of due west-Boswell is slightly north of west-my wife also heard it and wondered if it was snow storm thunder when we heard it
