Remarks Fireball fell straight down from the sky with a long green train behind it that expanded as it dropped. Within about 6 seconds, everything disappeared. The drop happened just to the left of the Orion constellation over the southern San Diego sky just before 8:30pm. I could tell because it lit up Orion’s Belt in a way when it went by. Green was very noticeable and unique.
