| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | Observed an extremely fast fireball (bolide) around 19:00, lasting only about 0.5 seconds. The object moved from Ernetschwil towards Sankt Gallenkappel (ESE). It resembled a large comet with a long tail; the core was brilliant white, with distinct green and blue fringes. Despite the clouds, a massive terminal flash was visible as it disappeared behind the mountains. No sound was heard, likely due to the distance or acoustic shadow |
