| Remarks | I was very excited when I saw the object. I live in a very rural area without any neighbors or other artificial lights to interfere with a clear sky. My wife and I are just getting in our hot tub, located outside when we both saw it. I was able to look back at a text message I made just before going out to the tub. So I am pretty certain of the time(within 2 minutes). It was very noticeable and in both our direction of site as we had just sit down in our tub and looking at the sky. After it disappeared we both started Google searches about shooting stars and what they really were. This was certainly 1 of the most obvious signs of a meteor/shooting star, etc. We have encountered. Thanks for allowing us to share what we saw and we hope it was helpful. Chris |
