My passenger and I saw it at the same time and immediately said that was the biggest, brightest shooting star we've ever seen! But both noted it turned green and didn't seem like other shooting stars we'd seen.

I saw what appeared to be a shooting star that quickly flashed bright and turned green with a trail behind it and then the green ball and it's whiter tail all disappeared within a couple seconds
