Remarks I was looking down, when I saw the ground illuminate, and I saw the shadow of a small backyard tree. Looking up, quickly, I saw a meteor streaking through the atmosphere, leaving a bright trail, behind it. When it was even with the direction I was facing, there was a flash, and the meteor became brighter. That flash left a "puff-ball" like cloud behind.
