I've seen meteor showers in the pacific northwest before but never have I seen what appeared to me to be a meteor so bright or as yellow/golden. I've also never seen one fragment before. Of the known meteors I have seen, they've typically seemed very far away/small and just a bright white. This one seemed either very large or much closer. This was such an unusual occurrence that I felt the need to report the sighting.
