It was amazingly bright and clear without my glasses and on a very cloudy night. I have seen many shooting starts but nothing as brilliant as this one!

The green fire went from east to west. I went inside to grab my phone and there was a very long black smoke trail drifting opposite the direction the fire ball went. I was able to get a picture of that
