| Remarks | From our vantage point, It appeared above the tree lines on the sloping side of the hill and it was a long time. we were walking down the Henry Hudson trail back to the main parking lot and we watched it continue onward across the skyline till it looked like it slightly descended into the mountain hillside of the Atlantic highlands, it was headed to a trajectory adjacent to wear the quick check was located on rt 36 - from where we were at along the trail from the ground (this is an approximation and guess) by the time we got to the end of the trail, we heard a slight boom, we were trying to make sense what it could be - and from the way it finally broke into fragments we suspected meteor- the tail was long like a rocket |
