It was neat. I thought it was man made at first. It seemed close. I knew I saw it. I was walking across the street watching where I was going. So I was well aware of watching everything and the traffic light. It looked like a flare gun. The path was horizontal. North to South.

Fading smoke along the long of the fireball. Almost like pieces coming off the main body.
It looked like a flare. It was not shooting star like. Slower, and more color. It followed the horizon. It seemed to go from North to South. The pieces faded faster than the main body.
