Remarks This seemed to me quite remarkable, as it appeared over Manhattan while the sky was still light. I expect that there will be other reports. In fact, I went looking for reports as soon as I got home, and found your website. Figured I would submit my report, for what it's worth.

Remarks The light grew gradually brighter white then broke into bits, just to the west of the Empire State Building from my point of view.

Remarks The light grew brighter then split into bits; the light at first seemed to me like a plane, except that it was headed nearly straight down and appeared to one side of the Empire State Building.
