| Remarks | This event occurred during the summer around midday, between approximately 2008 and 2010, near Kerkouane, Tunisia. The fireball traveled eastward over the Mediterranean Sea. After the luminous phase ended, a persistent smoke trail remained visible, and a dark object continued its descent. I also heard a distinct whistling sound at the same time as the fireball, but no delayed sonic boom. |
