| Remarks | Seen while driving north on the Garden State Parkway. Sky was NOT fully dark. The meteor appear out of a clear sky directly ahead of our direction of driving, flared slightly once and disappeared behind a bank of clouds. While I am NOT a studied astronomer, I have lectured on space and astronomy for the National Park Service and was a science teacher. |
