Reports Report 2872c (Event 2872-2026)

Observer
Name R D
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks When I saw the event I was on a mountain at around 8,400 feet high on the east side of the San Luis Valley (~70 miles wide) and my horizon consisted of other mountains with summits around 12,00 feet, and the fireball was seen across the other side of the San Luis Valley. Also the San Luis Valley is known for it's premier star-viewing sites as it is surrounded by mountains with very little light pollution.
