| Remarks | When I saw the event I was on a mountain at around 8,400 feet high on the east side of the San Luis Valley (~70 miles wide) and my horizon consisted of other mountains with summits around 12,00 feet, and the fireball was seen across the other side of the San Luis Valley. Also the San Luis Valley is known for it's premier star-viewing sites as it is surrounded by mountains with very little light pollution. |

| Remarks | As it entered my field of view there was a white streak followed by a green glow surrounded with white and then followed by a blueish glow surrounded by white when it was about center of my view and then faded into a bright white streak as it vanished at the end. I didn't notice any fragmentation with my naked eye, just the two quick bursts of colored brightness. |
