I had never seen anything as close and as bright as this before. The travelling object looked like it would have landed in the hill to the left of state highway 8 on the Alexandra side of the Roxburgh township (probably a North Westerly direction....although that might just be west of the roxburgh township because my sense of direction from the point from which I viewed the light was that it was above and to the left of me.
