Remarks Using the Night Sky app overlay, the fireball was in the exact same place in the sky as C/2025 R3, but started just slightly higher up. The trajectory appeared to be the exact same. ISS had just passed by (at 4:56 AM) coming from NW to NE. Both the comet and fireball were heading toward the same direction but further SE. I also witnessed a separate bright flash in the same area of the sky as the fireball and comet, though I was not able to identify a direction of origin—just a very quick, bright flash out of the corner of my eye. This took place approximately 10 minutes before ISS passed over. And approximately 2-3 minutes before the fireball, 2 smaller shooting stars were observed in the same proximity, from the same direction and appeared to be similar in trajectory. The total span of time between the initial flash and fireball image was roughly 20 minutes. *This might not be relevant but a bolide was observed in the midsts of the Lyrids meteor shower, which was 170 degrees on the opposite side of the sky. Will be submitting photo of that also.
