Reports Report 3168dy (Event 3168-2026)

Observer
Name Signe C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks Please know I’m unsure of the direction it was traveling or height above the horizon because we were in bed looking southeast towards the Olympic Mountains/Hurricane Ridge. (Our property is on the highest hill within the city limits, on the west side of Port Angeles so an unobstructed sky view.) Just after midnight there was an intense bright double flash of greenish light that filled the room. Initially we thought lightning had struck close by, but there was no sound and it was a clear night sky. Moon was directly overhead, 96% full. Definitely alarming because the fluctuating flashes were SO bright! Thank~you for what you do… (and also for keeping my personal information private). Signe Charlier
