Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks One smaller fragment (20%) stayed intact a little higher on the horizon, and one big chunk (80%) fragmented into multiple colourful fragments. All fragments vanished right after the explosion of the main chunk.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks The fireball started as one ball of light about 5 times brighter than Sirius, grew brighter for the whole duration (2-3 seconds), halfway through the main fragment broke off from the main chunk, and just before the explosion of the main chunk its brightness had reached 10 times that of Sirius. The area of brightness got bigger at the explosion, but the flash value of the explosion wasn't big in itself. The flash itself lasted for much less than one tenth of a second and didn't brighten the fireball much. But it's difficult to say, perhaps it reached twice the brightness it had immediately before. So, perhaps 20 times that of Sirius.
