| Remarks | I was sitting next to very large windows that face south..I was facing east, when something caught the corner of my eyes. I looked out the window to see this BRIGHT white ball with a very large, wide white tail. It seemed to be hurtling almost right at us, to what seemed just over our house.. but slightly a little more NE? It seemed so low! I wasn't registering what I was seeing until it started fragmenting right before my eyes, getting even brighter with reds, yellows and orange, just before I lost sight of it over our house. I jumped up and ran to the other side of the house but trees were blocking the view, so I didn't see it dissipate. But I imagine it did before I even got to the other side of my house.. which was only 30 ft!! AMAZING!! |
