Reports Report 4150f (Event 4150-2026)

Observer
Name Charlie R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was sitting indoors facing almost due west, and saw it out my window that faces almost due north - you can check my angle math using Google maps; I was sitting perpendicular to the north face of the house, opposite side from the road lincoln ave, facing grand st. From my position the wibdow is at about 10 o'clock. The fireball looked to move from south to north or maybe southwest to northeast. It was larger than the majority of shooting stars I've seen, fatter, and had a fat tail that disappeared when the light disappeared. The glow of the city to the north of me obscures almost all stars.

Remarks It seemed to split in two or flash after the initial streak disappeared. The angle did not change it was like one piece died and another piece in the same direction/line flashed after the first bit died. I hope that makes sense.
