Observer
Name Avis H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I was driving east on Chestnut Expressway in Springfield, MO, and was stopped at the traffic light at the intersection of Glenstone Avenue facing directly East. I observed a bright fireball traveling from right to left (South to North) across my front windshield. It originated in the southeastern sky and moved toward the northeast. It began as a green glowing light, transitioned into orange with a visible trail of flames/debris, and flashed green once more before disappearin lower toward the northern horizon. And it was the most beautiful thing.
