Remarks While I'm not an expert and have no telescope, I watch the nights sky almost every single night. I wish I had a telescope or something that could capture at least a short video of these pulsating objects. I've always assumed that the ones that flash multiple times were satellites that are rotating as they are moving and that if there are flat surfaces on the satellites, that they are reflecting light back at me as they rotate causing the flashing effect. But, this was at least 4 times the size as the ones I usually see and at least 75% brighter, only flashing once. It was definitely the most amazing object I've seen in the sky to date! You needed no telescope to see this.

Remarks This was like a camera flash and I've seen these before but this actually lit the sky up which I've never seen these things do. Also, this was just one super bright flash. Usually they flash multiple times, like a pulse indicating the direction. This is the first time ever that I've seen a flash that lit up the sky and didn't flash multiple times. I look at the nights sky a lot, looking for satellites moving across the sky and I'm always looking for flashes but like I said, I have never seen one flash once and never one that was this big and this bright. I don't have a telescope. I just watch with my bare eyes. I hope this helps and I hope this helps me somehow understand what I'm seeing.
