Reports Report 5057g (Event 5057-2026)

Observer
Name George C
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I observed and recorded something interesting shortly there after that lasted about 4 minutes. I've captured some neat events on my tiktok GeoRocks78 same on youtube. I've captured surface colors on the moons of Jupiter I've been looking up for a long time. Whatever this was that burnt up was quite spectacular. In the sat pic I was in the second vacant spot in the bottom of the picture and it came from directly overhead and there are 2 cabins and a shed.. it went down directly behind the shed which is the right most building. On close to 90° I was at a campground so my orientation was off a bit. My timing was off because I was looking up afterwards because I was blown away by it. It may have been up to 00:05 July 5th.

Terminal flash

Remarks That is what caught my attention I was zipping up the tent... I heard it at the same time I seen the flash. Looked up through the screen. I had been taking constellation pictures all night and was just going to bed when it happened. I may be a bit off on the timing I was looking up after for a bit. Then thought oh my what time was that. It had a long trail and quite thick to what I have seen before in the past.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks There was a bit of spark at the end and around the trail but they did not emit trains themselves
